DARE are not a promotion prone to quiet marketing. With bare-knuckle fights announced, statements pronouncing that ‘mornings after DARE are sweet hangovers’, and signings such as Mark Striegl and Irshaad Sayed, the Bangkok organisation refuse to exist in silence.

Last night the results from Bangkok were as follows;

Arnaud LePont def Cris Haja, round 1 guillotine
Andre Marcolla def Daniel Kerr, round 2 submission (armbar)
Mark Striegl def Marko Huusansaari, round 2 submission (armbar)
Kristoffer Persson def Alexsandro “Leke”Machado, round 2 TKO
Shannon “One Shin” Wiratchai def Tondamrong Punjabutra, round 2 submission (RNC)
Will Chope def Saengchit Parkaiphet, round 1 submission (RNC)
Shoyidor Jurabekov def Bruce Loh, round 1 (leg injury)

Muay Fit and Phuket Top Team went 3-0 at the event, marking the most success for a Thai-based camp (PTT). Will Chope earned his third win this month by defeating Saengchit Parkaiphet. Chope is 3-0 this month, and on a 9-1 tear having gone 0-4 at the extremely rocky start to his MMA career. The 21yr old is proof that with dedication and good training, you can completely turn your life and/or career around.

His fellow PTT alumni Mark Striegl picked up a win over Tiger Muay Thai’s Marko Huusansaari. He improves to 9-0.

The main event got Asian tongues wagging, as after a supposed domination from Haja in the first round, Arnaud LePont secured a guillotine and pulled guard, securing a submission win and comeback.
