Set to take place this Saturday 16th June in Wonju, South Korea.
ROAD FC has been Korea’s dominant force in MMA and one of Asia’s more steady and productive MMA organisations.
This event will be no doubt action packed and fun to watch (not sure if you have noticed, but Korean’s just love to scrap!)
FINAL 4 – Bitter Rivals & Young Guns 4
The event is split into 2 parts - the Young Guns 4 is the undercard portion and then the Bantamweight final 4 & super fights will be the main card portion.
At the top of the Undercard is Won Ki Kim Vs Sung Jin Hong, followed by Yong Jae Lee will face Hwi Kyu Kim.
We will then have what should be a fun fight as 3-0 in Road FC, Seok Mo Kim, will take on 21 year old Jun Hee Moon whose only losses are to Ryo Chonan and Andrews Nakahara. Nae Cheol Kim will then fight Il Chul Park.
In the final 2 fights of the undercard Eun Soo Kim will face Hee Seung Kim and DREAM, RINGS, and Road FC fighter Young Sam Jung will face someone we only know as ‘Francisco’.
The Main card features the Bantamweight tournament
Kyung Ho Kang (Team MAD) Vs Jae Hoon Moon (Extreme Combat)
Andrew Leone (Phuket Top Team) Vs Min Jung Song (Team MAX)
The two winners of this fight will then fight each other in the final fight of the night, to find out who will walk away the ROAD FC Bantamweight Champion.
This means 2 fights in the 1 night – we can assure you this is going to be fun to see!
In a super fight Denis Kang returns to take on Road FC Middleweight tournament runner-up Hae Suk Son !
The last super fight will feature the one and only Bob Sapp on his ‘tour of shame’ (courtesy of @DanielFletcher_) we can expect to see him tap to strikes early in the opening round against Korean middleweight Kim Jong Dae, leading to his ninth consecutive loss of his MMA career.
All in all ROAD FC 008 will be a action packed card – with the Bantamweight Tournament semi-finals and the finals, set to take center stage in the entertainment!

*side note – Phuket Top Team’s Andrew Leone (Semi-finalist in the Bantamweight Tournament) was quoted as saying
“I think winning the ROAD FC Bantamweight title should not only get me respect in the Asian MMA scene but also a date with Park Si Hyun…let’s hope ROAD FC CEO Moon Hong Jung can make this happen”
