Dana white has confirmed that finally the UFC will head to Asia. The promise to hit China has come true.
Macau seems like an obvious choice to play host to the UFC.
Macau, known as the Las Vagas of Asia – with its huge casino’s and 24 hour lifestyle.
Macau is not new to hosting MMA events, Legend FC found a home in Macau and has held successful shows there throughout 2012.

The Venetian Macao-Resort-Hotel, a 40-story property modeled after The Venetian in Las Vegas, the hotel features the planet’s largest casino and is one of the region’s most popular tourism spots.
The November 10 card will take place at the Venetian Macau Resort Hotel’s Cotai Arena, a venue which seats 15,000.
Lorenzo Fertitta had this to say about breaking into the Chinese based market;
“Breaking into a market with a population of over 1.3 billion is both a testament to the growth of our sport and a long-term challenge we are excited to undertake,”
Usually when the UFC take there product to a new country we expect to see many local fighters on the card – will be interesting to see who will be on the November card.
Either way it’s exciting times once again for the Asian MMA scene.
