And I cant quite understand just what this feeling is….
But it’s ok cos we’re all sorted out for E’s and whizz…
Bangkok Muay Thai junkies will get a nice fix of championship action at the Lumpinee Stadium soon enough, with two title fights booked on the Tuesday card that closes out this month. Big shout out to Kevin O’Nuanain from the city; enjoy the show chief.
One of FSA’s prospects is on the card, Petchpanomrung, who unfortunately dropped two fights following our feature on him after smashing current Thailand super-bantamweight (122lbs) champion Thong to defeat with a head kick, and then losing closely to 2011 Lumpinee Stadium Fighter of the Year Sam-A for the stadium title belt. Either way, the now 17yr old is still a talented fighter and I expect him to be fighting in that arena for a few years to come.
The championship bouts are to be at 108lbs and 135lbs, with Wanchai vs. Sarawut, and Singdam vs. Nong-O respectively. Two very tasty scraps. F-16 also features on this very solid midweek card, facing Diesel Lek, and Petchboonchu and Wanchalerm will fight again.
The card is as follows:
Bout for the 108lbs Lumpinee Stadium title
1. Wanchai v Sarawut
2. Lukman v Chailek – 122lb,
3. Palungtip v Kwankaw – 122 lb,
4. Sittisak (Kiatpetch gym) v Arunchai – 133lb,
5. Petchpanomrung v Rittidej – 123lb
6. F-16 V Diesellek – 136lb
7. Petchboonchu v Wanchalerm – 133lb,
Bout for the 135 lb Lumpinee Stadium title
8. Singdam Kiatmoo 9 v Nong O Kaiyang5Dao
Put your hands up for Bangkok… a lovely city.
