Who’s the Fly-est weight around Asia?

Asian Flyweight

We got to see the flyweights enter the UFC finally this year. From my perspective it’s been great.

Previous to the UFC introducing the 131lbs (57kg) weight division, we would see the best of these little men fighting in Tachi Palace and Shooto (Japan)

Asia has always been the hub of Flyweight MMA fighters – with Brazil and the USA following suit while the UFC now hiring lots of Asian flyweight talent.

Lets take a look at the Fly’est weight in Asia and the best of the bunch from the Asian region, who are fighting within Asia (not currently signed to UFC, Tachi Palace etc)

TOP 5 Flyweights fighting in Asia

No.1

Mamoru Yamaguchi (26-6)

No.2

Haruo Ochi (9-2)

No.3

Mitsuhisa Sunabe (16-7)

No.4

Roy Docyogen (10-0)

No.5

Andrew Leone (6-2)

You have to admit that some pretty Fly talent in there, can’t wait to see how ONE FC, ROAD FC, SHOOTO and Pancrace play out these top 5 fighters in the Asian market
