After his vengeance over Andrew Leone to capture the Road FC Bantamweight Grand Prix tournament, it was perhaps inevitable that Kyung Ho Kang would sign to the UFC.
His 11-6 record belies his talent – the vast majority of his career was campaigned at lightweight and then featherweight, and he has just beaten the sole bantamweight (actually a flyweight stepping up) in Andrew Leone, to capture Road FC gold.
Kang is a tremendous grappler with terrific strength, underrated skill and he is decent standing too. He will make a fine addition to UFC’s bantamweight ranks.
A big shout-out to our friend LeeLi (Asia-MMA) who reported the news of Kang’s signing.
