Jordan Coe (16) and George Mann (14) triumph in Bangla Stadium, Patong Beach, Phuket, via second round knockout and points decision respectively.

This continues a long history of travelling UK fighters competing and winning on Thailand’s biggest tourist island, with such fighters as Liam Harrison flying over to win and defend stadium titles, Andy Howson beating ranked fighters at super-bantamweight, and fellow world champ Charlie Boy “Kind of a Big Deal” Peters fighting full-time at Bangla, where he will be defending his WMC world title on August 12th at the Queen’s Cup.

The Friday card was attended by none other than Muay Thai legend Saenchai, who is spending the weekend in Phuket. He will fight on the island on September, against an unspecified opponent and venue.

Stay tuned to FightSportAsia for upcoming Phuket Muay Thai news, such as Stadium events, Saenchai’s appearance and the Queen’s Cup event on August 12th, featuring FOUR World MuayThai Council world championship matchups.
