JJ “Superman” Ambrose is a Bellator fighter, and part of the young fight team at Phuket Top Team.
In this video, the 18-4-1 lightweight challenges controversial Frenchie Arnaud “The Game” Lepont, in a respectful, dignified and measured manner. He also, at my prompting (click on Jumpin’ Jack Fletch and “follow” you degenerate swine) discussed video games, (he hopes to smash Gear of Wars 3, and then perhaps another “Game” – namely, Lepont), and other topics breached include his hair, fast food, his most recent knockout victory in PRO FC, and the nostalgic wrestler even adds a little walk down memory lane to boot.
Watch the video if only for the spectacle of an extremely handsome man with beautiful hair speaking on camera. If you’re an impatient yank with ADD, the Arnaud talk starts at around one and a half minutes into the video.
Ambrose (and pal Ray Elbe) both want Lepont, who wants Will Chope and Shinya Aoki. A right royal barrel of cockney monkeys.
Either way, Lepont is not signed exclusively to One FC (where he could face Elbe or Aoki) and One FC Network promotion DARE, where Ambrose would be comfortable fighting, are used to hosting “The Game”. Ambrose is based in Thailand, the home of DARE, as he is a Phuket Top Team fighter.
So what do you say gentlemen? To Sir Lepont; dost thou accepteth the challenge laid forth herewith to sling the heat rocks and do battle henceforth on Thai soil; do you DARE?
C’mon, Frenchie. JJ has such a handsome, punchable face, and he’s American. Let’s see the scrap in DARE, you can have an epic battle of entrance themes and then settle whatever needs settling, collect a cheque and head back south.
The fight has an added bonus of being between two affiliated camps… in-house rivalry is often problematic, but as MuayFit’s Arnaud reportedly called out Will Chope (a featherweight… of MuayFit) it shouldn’t pose the slightest problem.
Over to “The Game”.
