American Romie Adanza goes from one rematch to another.
The hotly contested decision in his first fight with Andy Howson of Leeds, England was set to be put to the test with a rematch under K-1 rules under the banner of the biggest “kickboxing” promotion in the world. But the broken nose and foot Howson sustained in his last fight has scuppered the September 8 showdown, and in its place is the rematch of Adanza’s September 2011 bout with Japan’s Shuichi Wentz, who he defeated via unanimous decision (clearly, in this case).
K-1 Rising in Los Angeles looks set to go ahead, and with their new Spike TV deal, even some of the naysayers and doubters are beginning to envisage and succumb to the idea that maybe, just maybe, the phoenix-from-the-ashes that is the new K-1 could possibly succeed.
“Imagine”.

Keep the faith.
