Two championship bouts have been announced by One, as they are as follows:
- Eric Kelly vs. Honorio Banario
One FC Featherweight title
- Eduard Folayang vs. Zorobabel Moreira
One FC Lightweight title
Both fights feature Team Lakay men; Banario was just victorious on the Pride of a Nation card, as was Folayang, defeating Andrew Benibe in a one-sided fight, and the talented Felipe Enomoto respectively. Kelly for his part triumphed via TKO in round 2 against former UFC lightweight champion Jens Pulver, who one hopes will retire (again) instead of returning time after time to lose a la Ken, Mirko, Chuck etc (but worse, and more often), and Zorobabel entered MMA’s illustrious hall of iconic moments when he football-kicked Roger Huerta’s head into row Z.
However, there is a persistent rumour floating around today that Ole Laursen could possibly be in line for a surprise title shot, having left the promotion over a month ago with some acrimony. As things stand though, on paper it is Evolve’s Zorobabel versus Folayang, so that should be what we can expect on One FC: Rise of Kings, October 6th in Singapore.
The card will be headlined by DREAM, WAMMA and Shooto champion Shinya Aoki versus Arnaud “The Game” Lepont, at lightweight.

What happens if Zoro wins the LW belt. Where does thal leave Aoki? He ent going to fight his team mate. Although with the amount of fighters Evolve have at the lower weights surely team mates will have to fight at some point if they want to progress
