Unfortunately my lovelies, the live stream will not be forthcoming for THIS event – stay tuned for Road FC X!
There will be VOD (video-on-demand) which means the fight videos should be embedded on FightSportAsia before you can say supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.
Even though the sound of it is something quite atrocious… though if you say it loud enough you’ll always sound precocious.
All right, calm down cockneys.
The card features Melvin Manhoef, Ikuhisa Minowa, Muay Thai star Vuyisille Colossa and a lightweight tournament.
- Melvin Manhoef vs. Jae Young Kim
- Ikuhisa Minowa vs. Jin Soo Yuk
- Yui Chul Nam vs. Masahiro Toryu
- Chang Hyun Kim vs. Takasuke Kume
- Seok Mo Kim vs. Vuyisile Colossa
- Yong Jae Lee vs. Won Gi Kim
- Il Chul Park vs. Young Woo Yu
- Myung Sik Kwak vs. Gwang Su Park
- Tae Ho Jin vs. Young Sam Jung
- Hui Kyu Kim vs. Jong Hwan Lee
- Young Bok Gil vs. Jung Won Lee
The lightweight tournament is as follows:
- Vuyisille Colossa vs. Seok Mo Kim
- Yui Chul Nam vs. Masahiro Toryu
- Takasuke Kume vs. Chang Hyun Kim
- Yong Jae Lee vs. Won Gi Kim
I would have to say the favourite is Colossa, despite his Manhoef-esque shortcomings as a Mixed Martial Artist obviously being in the grappling department. Chul Nam, Kume and Jae Lee are expected to win their bouts too, to set up the semi-finals.
The event has a “Japan vs. Korea” feel to it; very cool, and we hope they continue this trend, along with their ever-growing list of well known foreign fighters such as Minowa, Manhoef, Denis Kang and Colossa, plus Andrew Leone and his Bellator brother Anthony!
Stay tuned to Fight Sport Asia, as we will have the videos online as soon as they are made available.
Osssu & chok dee cap!
