Fabio Pinca Headlines MAX 4 Man Tournament in Jakarta

MAX Muay Thai is back with their second show on June 29 in Jakarta, Indonesia. The show’s format will once again feature a 4 man tournament, and 3-4 superfights between some of the top 70 kg names in the division. Yesterday, MAX announced 3 of the 4 competitors in their tournament, including French Muay Thai icon Fabio Pinca.

Pinca has had a pretty back-and-forth couples of years. While he without a doubt still fights some of the best competition on the planet, it’s been difficult for him to cinch the win in several of his biggest match-ups lately, which include decision losses to both Alessandro Campagna and Sitthichai.

Also announced for the tournament is the 20 year old Victor Nagbe, and Denmark’s Rhassan Muhareb. While we’re still waiting on the fourth competitor to be announced, it seems that this series will be Pinca’s to lose. The French nak muay would make a great addition to the final tournament at the end of the year, for which Russia’s Andrei Kulebin has already qualified.

The rest of the card up until this point is just rumors, but we’ve heard that both Alessandro Campagna and Simon Marcus might potentially be making appearances (Fingers crossed).
